Interview with Todd

JM: How many different blocks were there?
Todd: there were 6 pods on each side with 10 cells in each pod

JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they?
Todd: well you had the 400 block the 600 block the 900 block and the 1000block and 1200 block

JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks?
Todd: the 400 block was for parole violators and probation violatorsthe 600 block was for misdemeanors the 900 block was for the women and the 1000 and 1200 blocks were for the serious offenders like felons murderers rapists and child molesters etc.

JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks?
Todd: there were not too many things about jail being nice we never got to go outside on a regular basis the food is horrible your always crowded up and the guards treat every one like they are crap

The need to let the inmates out more often. Sunlight provides natural sources of Vitamin D and C. Would cut down on illness and depression. Certain cell blocks should be allowed outside activities to stay healthy. The program needs to be looked at by the sound of Todd's comments.
